I bought the Asus B550 M K Prime because it offered 4 slots for DIMMs, and 2 slots for M.2 NVMe. I had a Ryzen 5600G to pair it with. Unfortunately, this MB needs a BIOS update in order for it to support my CPU, so I needed an older Ryzen cpu to be able to update the BIOS. At the beginning, it worked well for a while, then the trouble started; instability and recurring blue screens of death. After some attempts, I managed to make the pc run decently, until I noticed that my 3200 MHz sticks of RAM were running at 2666 MHz. This mobo is advertised to be able to handle up to 4800 MHz. It worked for a while, then suddenly, the pc started shutting down randomly. I tried to reset the BIOS a couple of times and I was successful (by removing the CMOS battery... etc.) After about the 3rd or 4th time this repeated, the PC stopped turning on. I press the button and nothing, the fans spin for half a second, then nothing happens. Avoid this MB at all costs!
